Music and Arts
At Twyning School we use the Charanga Music School interractive on-line learning system to teach music.
Charanga is totally aligned to the National Curriculum for Music.
In school, we have a good selection of musical instruments, including glockenspiels, recorders, drums, shakers and bells.
We are also lucky to have a Gloucestershire Peripatetic Music Teacher visiting our school to teach regular piano lessons to children who request this service.
In our Art lessons, we use a wide range of materials and media to explore and produce many wonderful creations! We enjoy drawing and painting, 3D work and collage, using patterns and textiles including clay, mod-roc, and even sewing.
