Welcome to Hedgehogs!

We are a class of Year 4 and Year 5 children.

We have two class teachers. Miss Taylor teaches Monday - Thursday. While Miss Taylor is on Maternity Leave, Miss Thomas is our teacher. Her email address is [email protected] if there is anything you need.

Mrs Leggett teaches us on a Friday.

Mrs Holtham and Miss Aston are our Teaching Assistants.

How our week works:
Our PE days are Thursday and Friday. 

Spelling tests are every Monday with new spelling lists being sent home on the same day as the test.

Your child can practise their spellings and find their lists on Spelling Frame. 

Logins can be found in the front of their green spelling books. 

Times table tests are every Tuesday with new tables being set on Wednesday.

Your child can check their focus table and practise their tables using Times Tables Rockstars.

Homework will be sent out at the beginning of each term and will be checked every Monday.

Reading Records 

All Hedgehog children should continue using their Reading Records to write in their weekly reads. We expect children to read at least 5 times a week. 

5 weekly reads will mean your child is awarded a reading point. When they have earned 10, 20 and 30 points, your child will recieve a certificate and prize in Celebration Assembly.

Please help your child by signing their reading records each week and encouraging to bring their Reading Records into school every Friday.
