SEN teaching assistant post

 Do you have experience of working with children in an educational setting? Do you consider yourself to be a positive role model for children and young people? Can you support and help to develop children’s love of learning? Are you calm, reliable, positive and kind? If so, you could be just the person we are looking for.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team of staff working 21.75 TA hours and 3.75 MDS hours per week working with a Reception child.

This post is fixed term linked to a specific child and relevant funding, once the pupil has left the school the employment contract will end.

The successful candidate will need a strong work ethic, initiative and self-motivation, previous experience of working with children, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, the ability to form positive relationships with both children and adults, and they should possess good literacy and mathematical skills.
